About ISA

The Indian Student Association began over 70 years ago at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. We have over 350 active members, making ISA the largest cultural organization on campus. U of I's ISA is known for many of its flagship events, including Diwali Night, GRB (Garba, Raas, Bhangra), Gandhi Week, and India Night. Each of these events represents ISA's goal to increase awareness and foster appreciation of Indian culture and history. ISA also promotes unity through diversity, and we work with many cultural, religious, and perfomance-based organizations to promote the many talented students here at U of I.

Information of our many events will be posted as they are being planned throughout the year, and if you have any questions or suggestions, please email isaillinois@gmail.com.

Below are videos from our two cultural shows: Diwali Night and India Night, again, highlighting the scope and depth of ISA talent on campus.
